As we have been explaining since the end of June, the most important news of MIRA 2017 is the premiere of the 3D Sound Room by SON Estrella Galicia, a second stage that is born with the aim of expanding the program and activities of the festival. This new space, located on the first floor of the Centre d’Art Contemporani de Fabra i Coats, will be completely transformed since its everyday use as a museum room will cease to step onto a stage with 3D sound and specially programmed from our vision of the current oriented-to-dance electronic music.
The technological additive of this new stage seeks to maximize the relationship between space, audio and interaction with the audicence through the programming of shows with surround sound using the auditive immersive technology created by Intorno Labs. With a multi-channeled sound system of speakers located around the room, we will find ourselves in the middle of a multisensory environment unprecedented in Barcelona where the depth of the sound and movement is perceived.
The 3D Sound Room by SON Estrella Galicia already has all its shows confirmed for the event the next 9, 10 and 11 November. In the first announcement of June we had Voiski and Tolouse Low Trax. In the second wave of July we added Ferenc. And, with the third announcement of September, we have the rest of members of the lineup.
