Grand River

At MIRA 2026, Grand River will present Temporary, a powerful live performance exploring ideas of impermanence, transformation and transience. Shaped by a personal experience of grief and loss, the piece intertwines resonant guitar work and electronics in a melodic and emotional sonic journey through shifting landscapes, mercurial states and reflections on mortality and the fleeting nature of experience. Live light design and smoke amplify its physical dimension, extending the music into the space and creating an atmosphere in which presence and disappearance continuously intersect.
