MIRA is a festival of digital arts and contemporary music held annually in Barcelona.
MIRA is a digital arts and contemporary music festival held annually in Barcelona since 2011, with two international editions in Berlin (2016 and 2018). Focused on the intersection between art and digital culture, the festival features a carefully curated program including live audiovisual shows, concerts, immersive installations, performances, 360º screenings, DJ sets, and talks.
Beyond the main event, MIRA functions as an active cultural platform. In the week leading up to the festival, we organize activities across key venues in the city, in collaboration with local cultural agents, associations, and independent spaces. These actions aim to strengthen the ecosystem of contemporary music and digital art in Barcelona and enhance its European dimension. We seek to create lasting synergies, foster knowledge exchange, and support the professional growth of the creative sector.
Accessibility and inclusion are core values at MIRA. We work to ensure that our experiences are accessible to diverse audiences, offering safe, inclusive, and adaptable spaces, and embracing diversity in disciplines, origins, languages, and formats.

MIRA aims to bring the audience closer to diverse worlds of artistic creativity in an event with two main goals: to serve as a platform for emerging creators and as a showcase for internationally renowned names; creating unique experiences through digital and technological innovation, always intertwining live music and visual arts.
MIRA is also a community — a vibrant network of artists, audiences, technicians, thinkers, and cultural agents who share a common vision of the transformative power of art and technology. We are committed to building strong networks rooted in sustainability, diversity, respect, innovation, and collaboration.
Over more than a decade, MIRA has been recognized by both specialized media and the public as one of the leading festivals in its field. “A festival connecting the present and future of digital culture” (VICE), “A total artistic experience that goes beyond the stage” (Resident Advisor). Audience feedback, such as “a unique and transformative experience,” “a space for discovery and inspiration,” or “a festival that makes you feel part of something bigger” reflects the spirit of the event and inspires us to continue putting people at the center of everything we do.
MIRA is not just a festival. It is a network, a platform, and a meeting point to imagine new ways of creating, connecting, and experiencing contemporary and digital art.
