Akyute presents PAISAJE II

Akyute is an artistic duo driven by Magdalena Hart and Natalia Gima in 2019, in Barcelona. They use technology as a tool to reconnect the human experience, integrating nature into the digital era, unifying interactive experience design, audiovisual arts and generative sound.

Paisaje II is a piece that seeks to open dialogue about more-than-human intelligences and the possibility of living in “relationship with” rather than “domination over”. The work has its origins in the development of an interactive space of a technological nature in which the performer intra-acts (Barad, 2007) with the environment. Its co-creation with the biodata visualization system controlled by the plants that inhabit the installation creates a real-time soundscape alongside the generative visuals.
