Boldtron – VJ set

Xavi Cardona has had several aliases throughout his career, perhaps one for each face or each time, always attentive to the vital and social changes that have surrounded him. All this stems from an early sensitivity to the arts, where to find a good pseudonym is almost precondition to development work. To show a little more of his resume, he has played instruments like piano and viola. There’s still more, and always loaded with talent and creativity: Its facet as VJ, which is what we will happily bring to MIRA 2016 under the moniker – Boldtron taken out from his years working alongside his brother in Slurp TV. For the  performance at Fabra i Coats alongside Kim Ann Foxman, he will present a VJ set promoted from scratch and that is a challenge because he needs to take on stage his visual mixtures that are really special. He works with his own images for live versions where inspiration comes from many sides to follow a vital objective, defined genially as follows: “Lastvangarde: I’m going for my personal goal and if  I make the audience grasp it and enjoy it, great. But first I have to enjoy myself. ”
