Chronophage by TIND

TIND is a video art group from Montreal active since 2001 and renowned for having developed their own techniques for live audiovisual creation. TIND’ style is mainly based on the visual textures created by the errors found in video compression, interferences, bad video signals and video feedback. This texture accumulate itself in layers and then create a blurry space between the abstract and the figurative world. The visuals are always based on the rythms of the music and the music is also inspired by the visuals. Their live performance are laboratories for real time experimentation: a perfect mix of controlled improvisations with prepared interventions and mastered errors.
At MIRA 2016 TIND is screening CHRONOPHAGE, a fulldome audiovisual show created in collaboration with Canadian artist Création Ex-Nihilo (Guillaume Bourassa).
