Elisava presents ALICE

INSTALLATION

Thursday 07, Friday 08, Saturday 09

“Alice” takes the form of a visual/architectural labyrinth that reflects on and denounces the relentless rhythm and pace of life in large urban environments—where it seems as if there’s no time to stop and look around—and acts as a possible escape route from this oppressing reality… As if gazing straight into the rabbit hole, it leads us towards a new dimension, unknown and mysterious, full of possibilities and freedom, where time no longer matters and routines cease to exist.

Designed and produced by a group of Master and Undergraduate students from the ELISAVA School of Design and Engineering, “Alice” was first presented as part of the latest edition of the Llum BCN light installation festival, during which it received wide-spread praise and attention from both onlookers and critics.

The installation will be presented outdoors and will occupy a special place in MIRA 2019’s space.
