Eva Papamargariti presents “Untether/Improbable gatherings”

Eva Papamargariti presents this video installation that explores mechanisms through which a swarm of dissimilar bodies is interacting while coming together, falling apart, failing, and navigating themselves through various environments and situations that exist simultaneously on different scales. The work through moving image (CG and filmed material) and sound will unfold a narrative that attempts to materialize metaphorically and literally ways in order to identify ourselves, our desires, and our relationship with other agents inside a continuous stream of contradictory and intense flows that are inscribing information, attitudes, and actions on our bodies.

Eva Papamargariti is an artist based between London and Athens. Her practice focuses on moving images but also printed material and sculptural installations that explore the relationship between digital space and material reality.
