I AM JAS

I AM JAS is a Barcelona-based electronic musician and producer whose practice connects sonic experimentation, voice and technology. A self-taught musician, his sound combines deep electronic textures with an organic and emotional dimension, with his own voice playing a central role in his musical language.

His artistic practice runs alongside his work as an Acoustic and Audio Engineer and Researcher at La Salle – Ramon Llull University, placing his work at the intersection of science and musical expression. He has released music on Crosstown Rebels and presented his audiovisual live shows at venues and festivals including Cova Santa, Kappa FuturFestival and MIRA Festival. His sound design work for SYNAPTICON was recognised with RNE’s El Ojo Crítico Award.
