
Ian Margo
Ian Margo is a digital artist, researcher and curator whose practice focuses on the intersection between language, technology and economy. He works across video, software, interfaces, experimental essay, generative AI, 3D, blockchain, datamoshing, performance and interactive installation.
His work investigates the relationship between language and material, political and economic processes, exploring value production, tokenization and markets as creative mediums. He is cofounder of 邊界_RG and has published texts with DIFFRACTIONS and the Institute of Network Cultures.
He recently co-curated Rhizome’s 7×7 2026 and has collaborated with Google DeepMind, Gray Area and FWB. He has also taken part in the SYBIL ARC2 residency in Berlin, where he presented the first prototype of the IMEX project.
