Institute for Postnatural Studies presents ASHTHE

INSTALLATION

The Institute for Post-natural Studies is a center for artistic experimentation that explores and problematizes post-nature as a framework for contemporary creation, founded in 2020.

Its work, Asthe, aims to explore a new relationship between the human and the territory that formalizes care through technology. A new imaginary cyborg that understands the vegetal and fungal body (forests, plants, mushroom beds and nutritive species) as the center of a new way of relating to the alien ecosystems of a future to come, moving away from the romanticized and idealized image of a forest into the dark ecologies required by new inter-species relations.
