Julius Horsthuis presents NASCENCE

Julius Horsthuis is a pioneering artist in the creation of fractal immersive experiences. Using mathematics and infinite geometric patterns, he takes our imagination on a fascinating journey. His worlds emerge from mathematical reality, which he explores and reveals through shapes, colours and sounds.

Premiere in Spain, Nascence is a fulldome screening piece created in collaboration with David Levy, who has contributed his musical talent and immersive sound effects. This work is part of his latest project Recombination, which consists of eight immersive pieces.

In Nascence, the artist investigates how simple processes can give rise to complexity in nature, comparing fractals, relatively simple formulas, to DNA.
