Kavari

KAVARI is a British artist, DJ and designer based in Glasgow, known for an approach that blends industrial music, ambient, club and noise. Born in Birkenhead and raised in the Scottish Highlands, she began performing and organizing her own parties as a teenager in response to the lack of diversity within her local scene.

Her practice rejects the conventions of mainstream electronic music, combining abrasive textures, ethereal soundscapes and intense emotional expression. Influenced by artists including Aphex Twin, Skrillex, Genesis P Orridge, Lorn and Arca, she has established a distinctive voice within the British underground and contributed to projects by Yeule, REZZ and Flume.

Following Suture (2022), KAVARI presents PLAGUE MUSIC (2026), her debut on XL Recordings. Drawing from drum and bass, dubstep and noise, the EP imagines a world in decay where breath, movement and organic textures collide with physical and corrosive electronics.
