Manel Quintana

Manel Quintana is an artist and lighting designer. His work explores the possibilities of light as an artistic language, situated at the intersection of visual arts, scenography, and ephemeral architecture.

With a career spanning Catalonia and Colombia, he has presented his installations at festivals and events such as Sismògraf, Salmon (Mercat de les Flors / El Graner), Lluèrnia, ARTBO (Bogotá), ArtLima (Peru), and Colombiamoda (Medellín). He has collaborated with institutions including MACBA, Liceu, and CCCB, as well as with Colombian musician Simón Mejía (Bomba Estéreo) on the MONTE project, and with the company Auroa Bauzà & Pere Jou, among others. Together with Maria Camila Sanjinés, he is part of Artistas Salchichas, where they develop projects that connect light, space, art, and performance.
