Marcin Ignac is a Polish data artist and computational designer focusing on data visualization and generative systems. Since 2012 he lives London where he started own studio practice Variable in order to pursue his interest in blending design, software and the aesthetics emerging from data, processes and human behaviour. At Variable he brings to life ever changing digital sculptures, immersive installations and data driven designs with thousands of possible outcomes. Marcin has background in Computer Science, New Media Art and Interaction Design. He exhibited in Poznan, Aarhus, Vancouver, Moscow, London and Paris.

Living in an increasingly data driven world requires new ways of seeing and understanding the processes that shape our life. This talk will discuss how using code gives us ability to build tools for probing the surrounding reality in a search to discover the shape of data.
