Matteo

Matteo Caro is a student at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid, with an interest in experimental and speculative architecture. His practice begins from a need to question the automatisms of conventional architecture, placing it within a borderland of discontinuity and instability.

His work understands architecture as an investigation into the concept of limit and its possible dissolution, revisiting notions such as use, function and utility. Through a multidisciplinary approach, he proposes an architecture open to other arts and forms of thought, more interested in generating spaces and conditions of experience than in producing built objects.
