Neon Chambers

LIVE (LIGHT INSTALLATION BY GABRIELA PROCHAZKA)

Razzmatazz
Saturday 09, Nov

Neon Chambers is the coming together of two of contemporary techno’s leading lights: Kangding Ray (aka David Letellier) and Sigha (aka James Shaw). The London/Berlin-based duo join forces to present their most recent project in the form of a live show, centred around a fusion of avant-garde sonics & precision synthesis for forward leaning dance floors.

Both artists have been consistently exploring the space between wide-angle sound design & heavy dance floor functionality for a while, fusing their aesthetic and thematic visions with emotional fluency & technical proficiency. Kangding Ray is best known for his releases on Raster-Noton and Stroboscopic Artefacts, along with remix work for labels such as Warp and Mute, while Sigha has carved out his place through his output on Token, including his acclaimed “Metabolism” LP.

Their performance at MIRA 2019 will feature the Spanish premiere of the light installation by Prague-based multimedia artist Gabriela Prochazka, and will be part of the Afterparty at Razzmatazz on Saturday 9 November.
