Sandrine Deumier and Myriam Bleau present Realness

360º SCREENING

Thursday 07, Friday 08, Saturday 09

Winners of the MIRA x Hangar Open Call, “Realness” is an immersive 360º audiovisual project created by digital artist Sandrine Deumier and composer Myriam Bleau. An evocation of a cybernetic garden designed in multiple scenes, “Realness” reflects on the potential symbiosis between human beings and a state of rediscovered vegetal nature, while exploring concepts of ecosophy, inter-species mutualism, and offering the possibility of experiencing and identifying ourselves with other-than-human lifeforms.

Myriam Bleau is a composer, digital artist and performer based in Montreal whose hybrid electronic practice investigates music performance as a codified cultural manifestation and recontextualises pop culture elements and music history tropes. Sandrine Deumier is a French artist working in the field of performance, poetry and video art whose work investigates post-futurist themes through the development of aesthetic forms related to digital imaginaries.

You’ll be able to experience “Realness” in the MIRA Dome by adidas Originals on 7, 8, 9 November.
