VJ Roc

Roc Jiménez de Cisneros is an artist born in Barcelona in 1975. In 1996, he founded EVOL, a computer music project through which he has developed much of his artistic practice, focused on the exploration of algorithmic composition and the deconstruction of rave culture.

Positioned between psychedelia, sonic experimentation and formal research, his work has been released by international labels including Entr’acte, Mego, Presto!? and fals.ch, as well as ALKU, the label he has co-directed with Anna Ramos since 1997. His work has been presented live and as installations in galleries, museums and clubs across Europe, North America and Asia.
