Cancellation + Addition new Installation

23.10.2017

We are sad to inform that, due to unforeseen circumstances, the installation ‘The Hollow Futures of What Remains’, by Ben Zamora, will not be shown in MIRA 2017. However, he himself wants to add that “he remains committed to the vision and ideas of the festival and hopes to return in 2018”.

The good news is that Domestic Data Streamers are joining the line-up. This collective was founded in 2013 with the aim of creating new forms of communication through data storytelling. Any important exchange of information between people should always carry emotions and experiences, according to them.

Through the use of design, art, science and technology, they have worked all over the world with different institutions. They head to the festival with Heaven or Hell “MIRA’s fate is on you”, an installation that puts in the hands of the audience to decide if, together, we will go to heaven or hell. A heavenly journey will illuminate the path to the gateway to heaven; a place where vital questions must be addressed. Answers will make visible not only how sinful our souls are, also whether we should go to heaven or hell collectively by creating an interactive manifesto.
