Based on speculation about a post-human scenario, the work imagines the survival and adaptation of an ecosystem in which the hybridisation of organic matter and technology gives rise to new forms of coexistence.

This symbiosis takes the form of a creature in which an electrical pulse persists, travelling through intertwined roots, bundles of corroded cables, and other devices that become organically integrated, like an artificial respiratory system. Within this environment, light and sound contribute to shaping its sensory dimension.

Quan ja no existeixin els humans is presented as a material memory of a vanished world, where biological remains and technological infrastructures form a residual ecosystem that questions the boundaries between life, recording, and technology.
