MIRA 2016: First confirmed artists and Early Bird passes on sale


MIRA 2016 announces its first confirmations, dates, and new image. This year will hold its 6th edition on November 10+11+12 at Barcelona’s art factory Fabra i Coats.

The line up of this edition launches with 8 reference names in the international digital scene: Plaid (UK), Gesloten Cirkel (xx), Alessandro Cortini (IT), Throwing Snow (UK), Pfadfinderei (DE), Lakker (IRL) and Pauk + Eyesberg (ES).

In addition, MIRA is once again retelling the MIRA Dome stage, a dome-shaped structure installed in the courtyard of Fabra i Coats that will host 360º immersive Live shows. Three days of shows, installations and screenings where live music and visual art will fuse together.

As of today, you can buy early bird passes (35 euros plus taxes). The promotion will be active until supplies last. This pass gives access to all MIRA activities on 11th and 12th November, at Fabra i Coats. Get your pass here.

On Thursday, November 10th, MIRA will host the Open Acts, a free-activities day to be held at Fabra i Coats. We will give more information on activities and the rest of line up soon!

For the fourth consecutive year, Barcelona-based design studio Device has led for designing the festival’s graphic campaign. For this new edition, Device’s inspiration comes from the powerful aesthetic and graphic world of bodybuilding transforming, a world with its own characteristics as interesting as obsession, perseverance and hard work, values which Device wants to transfer to the festival‘s concept.
