Premiered at MIRA 2017, with the aim of bringing a new live music experience to the programming with a 40 speaker surround sound system, the 3D Sound Room by SON Estrella Galicia is a room that is usually a museum space but, during the dates of MIRA, emerges as something new and exciting through the acoustic splendour provided by the music and the talents of the artists together with the immersive audio technology created by INTORNO LABS

It is a space where, thanks to the support of our favourite beer, we look forward to discovering, listening and dancing to live performances and DJ sets with a sound system capable of extracting the full potential from the current electronic music panorama: from the fusion of Balkan jazz with most hardened, up-tempo beats to the wildest and granite techno, passing through elegant house and new wave electro.

At MIRA 2018 the live sets will be carried out by Alessandro Adriani (head of Mannequin Records) with his modular synthesizers; the Romanian Borusiade presenting her debut album “A Body” (Cómeme); Spanish producer Christian Len (accompanied by Papadupau, half of the band Za!) with his odyssey that navigates between dance music and live experimentation; the phenomenal rROXYMORE with her organic and introverted techno; Ralp, the Catalan experimentalist performing exclusively with modular synths; Serbian quartet Tapan connecting industrial electronics and the unique pulse of oriental percussion; Swedish giant Varg, a very prolific artist who will focus on the more techno side of his multifaceted production; and German duo Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt presenting their debut album full of synths, loops and a full drum kit.

DJ sets will be the work of DJ Stingray, the cult Detroit DJ known for his mind-bending, beat heavy, dark electro sound, and Josey Rebelle, marvellously navigating through countless genres – acid house, electro, techno, disco and more.

And as if this weren’t enough, during all of MIRA 2018 you will be able to visit the sound installation “STRUCTURE”, a digital marvel by French visual artist Julien Bayle, presented by INTORNO LABS.
