MIRA 2022: Digital Program

We are releasing MIRA 2022’s entire line-up today with the addition of the digital art program of the event, which will hold its 11th edition on 11 and 12 November at Fira de Montjuïc.

MIRA 2022 will hold five art installations: Lolo y Sosaku present “Torqué”, Maxime Houot (member of Collectif Coin) presents “Ataraxie”, Barcelona-based studio Tiler Gab presents “O”, Anonima/Luci x Katatonic Silentio present “Spaceframes”, and Xavi Ceerre presents “Plasticpastiss”, an installation that stars in the second part of the festival’s communication campaign.

➤ MIRA DOME by Bershka 

The 360º fulldome dedicated to immersive projects will host five digital art movies that will be screened continuously during the two days of the festival. MIRA curates “EXO”, an immersive audiovisual project by Shoeg. In collaboration with MMMAD, Madrid’s digital art festival, MIRA curates “I Have Lived in Many Forms. I Have Been Perceived as Many Things”, by the multidisciplinary artist Bora, and “Hijos de la Materia”, by Enric Sant and Marina Herlop.

In addition, Onionlab presents Paradoxa, an immersive piece that explores time and space, and Digo.Digital presents “In Search of Dreams: Cheating the Status Quo”, a 360º movie representing a fictitious virtual reality game in a metaverse.

Under the title “Síntesis de un mundo fértil”, it will exhibit 5 audiovisual pieces and 2 installations that explore the relationship between nature and technology, and the role of art -from plastic experimentation to digital media- to offer a critical approach to this connection.

The 7 exhibited artists focus on nature and propose a closer understanding of our ecosystem. We will have the works of Lola Zoido, Sabrina Ratte, Teresa Rofer, Yosi Negrín, Andrea Carrillo, Akyute, and Institute for Postnatural Studies.
