MIRA 2025: Digital art & culture program

Today we announce the digital art and culture program for the XIV edition of MIRA, a core part of our DNA and a space where innovation and creation intertwine to push the boundaries of perception.

The festival will be filled with installations, performances, immersive experiences, and live visuals that invite you to dive into new materialities, hybrid languages, and radical ways of imagining the future.

Among the featured names are Solimán López, presenting Manifesto Terrícola, a time capsule in bio-printed DNA inserted into an Arctic glacier; Nick Verstand, transforming perception with Liquid Logic; Onionlab, taking us into new territory with the VR experience The Outcome; Lolo & Sosaku, presenting Perros, an installation with robotic dogs in an automated cage that reflects on control, autonomy, and danger; and Lumus Instruments, with Polynode Phase, an installation that turns light into a hypnotic and immersive experience.

The program also brings together creators who expand the relationship between art and technology such as Sven Sauer, Gnomalab, Maarten Vos, Carla Elias, Albert.DATA, Enequist, Multiplicity, Abril Tormos, Anna Pantinat + Shoeg, Ferran Belmon, I AM JAS, Laia Ferran, Landscapes, Puntalaberinto, TGAM, and VPM, along with projects from Elisava, IED, and La Salle, schools that are an active part of Barcelona’s creative and educational fabric.

All these works come together in an edition that promises to be a unique journey through music, digital arts, and unrepeatable audiovisual experiences.
