MIRA 2026 announces its digital art and culture program

The MIRA 2026 universe continues to unfold. Following the completion of the music lineup, we now present the digital art and culture program for our 15th edition, taking place on November 6 & 7 at Fira Montjuïc. Installations, performances and live visuals once again come together with music, transforming the festival into a space for exploration, interaction and experimentation.

This edition delves into posthuman ecosystems, algorithmic perception and new relationships between body, voice and machine, with works by artists including Pinar Yoldas, Andreas Lutz, Alexis Choplain, Sarabiotic, Óldo Érreve, Anonima/Luci and Onionlab.

Among the installations, Pinar Yoldas presents An Ecosystem of Excess, a speculative ecosystem imagined to survive in the Great Pacific Garbage Patch, while Sarabiotic creates Evolutionary Signals, a generative environment inspired by the ocean floor that reacts to the presence of the audience. Andreas Lutz, meanwhile, turns the act of looking and being looked at into material for a machine capable of learning from the faces it encounters.

The body also becomes an interface. AEDOSSYNTH, by Marc Arnela together with I AM JAS, gives voice to three artificial heads through real-time vocal synthesis, while Óldo Érreve connects technology, body and ancestral memory in IMAGO Teōsinte.

This year, digital art also extends beyond the exhibition spaces. Onionlab will transform the main stage with Resonant Field, an audio-reactive light installation that will extend into the dancefloor. Ferran Belmon will create the visuals for Nicola Cruz’s live AV, VJ Roc will provide visuals for Tutu’s set, and VPM will do the same for DATAPUNK (HYBRID) presented by Anthony Rother.

Local creation and new generations once again play a prominent role in this edition, with projects by AEDOSSYNTH, KINETIC RIOT, Laia Tarragó + Pol Martín and Manel Quintana + Flowers by Bornay, alongside works from EINA, ELISAVA, IED Barcelona and La Salle – Universitat Ramon Llull, which will also present the performance Inspiria.

With this announcement, MIRA 2026 completes the two dimensions that have defined the festival for fifteen editions: music and digital art. Arca, Shygirl, Tortoise, Helena Hauff, Max Cooper, Nicola Cruz, Machine Girl, Nosaj Thing x Daito Manabe and many more are part of a 27-act music lineup.
