09.10.2023

It is a pleasure to present “The Hidden Complexity of Nature”, a new edition of MIRA.mov curated by Arianna Esposito that will take place on October 26, November 23, and December 21 at IDEAL. Get your tickets now here.

On this occasion, we will delve into the amazing natural kingdom full of intricate systems, biological processes, and extraordinary forms that still remain hidden and unreachable for human understanding. The immersive films that will be presented will offer four unique perspectives of this living, powerful, and mysterious nature, which we are only able to imagine.

Using millions of data points from the Northern Atlas and the Bay of Biscay, Ouchhh immerses viewers in oceanic and marine exploration. Giusy Amoroso explores alternative realities and reflects on the interconnection of nature, science, and human perception. MSHR weaves formal abstractions that manage to capture the dynamics present in natural systems, as well as in human understanding; and Cassie McQuater transports us through her works to a magical natural environment overflowing with color, populated by birds and flowers.
