Grand River

At MIRA 2026, Grand River will present Temporary, a powerful live performance exploring ideas of impermanence, transformation and transience. Born from a personal experience of grief and loss, the piece intertwines resonant guitars and electronics in a melodic and emotional sonic journey through shifting landscapes, volatile states of mind, and reflections on mortality and the ephemeral nature of experience. Live lighting design by Andrea Familiari, together with smoke, amplifies its physical dimension, extending the music throughout the space and creating an atmosphere where presence and disappearance constantly intersect.
