Inspired by this fact, this autumn we will present \u201c<strong>MIRA.mov: Exploring Visual Languages<\/strong>\u201d, a new series of immersive screenings that aims to explore contemporary culture and its creative formulas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through the work of various digital artists we will get to experience different imaginaries and contemporary techniques used for the creation of moving images.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The opening of the series will take place on <strong>Thursday 3 September at 9:30pm<\/strong> with the Spanish premiere of \u201c<strong>Geomancer<\/strong>\u201d by <strong>Lawrence Lek<\/strong> and the world premiere of \u201c<strong>We are at the end of something<\/strong>\u201d by <strong>Keiken x Ryan Vautier x Sakeema Crook<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2192 <strong>MIRA.mov<\/strong> will take place once a week throughout September, October, November and December at <strong>IDEAL<\/strong>, the first centre in southern Europe dedicated to the production and exhibition of digital arts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>PROGRAMME FOR SEPTEMBER<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Geomancer by Lawrence Lek<\/strong> (photo)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artist, filmmaker and musician Lawrence Lek presents \u201cGeomancer\u201d, the story of an environmental satellite that wishes to become an artist. Set in Singapore in the year 2065, Lek questions what would happen if the world were run by a form of posthuman intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>We are at the end of something by Keiken x Ryan Vautier x Sakeema Crook<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keiken + Ryan Vautier are a collective that explores the boundaries between the physical and the digital. In \u201cWe are at the end of something\u201d they present an installation in CGI film format created with a video game engine.
